Enhanced ICDP roll are developed based on ICDP rolls. The microstructure consists of a bainitic / martensitic matrix with Fe3C and MC carbides homogeneously distributed and a certain amount of free graphite fine and also well distributed in the matrix. The rolls are double tempered to avoid retained Austenite and to obtain the right hardness level and the optimum residual stress level.

Semi HSS rolls the total alloy content is between 8%-15%,HSS rolls alloy content is more than 15%, the alloy content is about half of HSS roll, so it’s called Semi HSS roll. Semi HSS roll mainly apply to roughing stands of hot strip mills, and the cold rolling mill worker rolls and intermediate rolls.

The forged steel rolls for hot mills are manufactured by forged steel blanks with special heat treatment is applied to make rolls in satisfactory barrel hardness and hardening depth. The forged rolls for hot mills have good wear-ability, high toughness and excellent biting ability.

The forged steel rolls for cold mills are widely applied to work rolls, intermediate rolls and back up rolls. The good performance of HKT rolls thanks to the high and homogeneous hardness in the work layer with superior wear ability, high toughness and excellence resistance to accident, and the depth of hardness layer may be over 30mm.
